Back home...

I'm back in Jackson now. :( I've been back for a week now, I just haven't had a chance to write. I loved Eleuthera! It was great to see what Leia's doing down there and meet everybody. I love the people down there. Everyone seems so happy. I really didn't want to come back to boring ole Jackson and Lambuth. I cannot wait until May 11!!! Larry's here visiting this weekend. We've just been hanging out, watching a lot of tv. The dang NCAA tournament is going on now so he's been glued to the tv since he got here. We did go play tennis yesterday. (We borrowed your stuff Lindsay, hope that's ok) I think I finally talked him into going to Milan tonight for a movie and dinner at the Chow Wagon. He wants to see Horton Hears A Who and I want to see Juno. I'll let you know who wins later. Tomorrow night we're going to Perkins with Lindsay. I'm pretty excited, I haven't been there in a long time.

Hidden Beach

Leia and I went to Hidden Beach today. It was beautiful! It looked like something out of a movie; like in Fool's Gold is anyone has seen it. I got sunburned but that's nothing new. :) Abe (Leia's boss) dropped us of at the beach and then we hitch- hiked back to camp because it would have been a really long walk. That was fun. We hopped in the back of a couples truck and they took us a little ways, then we got another ride with a lady and three kids. Later we rode he bikes down to the ocean to see the sunset. It is so beautiful here. I love it. You can see so many stars here at night! In Jackson, we can usually just see one. That's so sad. This trip has gone by way too fast. I have to go home on Saturday!! :(

In the Bahamas!

I'm down here in Eleuthera visiting Leia for the week! I can't believe it's already half over! It has gone by so fast! This is such a beautiful place! I'll put pictures up when I get home. Everyone here is so friendly and happy. It's great. You should all come down here sometime or find a group to come down. I sanded floors for awhile yesterday and today I laid down vinyl floors in a bedroom and part of a kitchen. Leia and I got to go the beach for awhile earlier. It was fun. She has the day off tomorrow so that wlll be fun. The first day I was here it was cloudy and kind of rainy and I didn't have my luggage yet, but everything has gone great since then. I got my luggage yesterday and Leia cut my hair! It's pretty short! We're having snow crab and grouper for dinner. I'm not a big seafood fan so we'll see how that goes...

Random

I haven't written in awhile so I think it's about time for an update. I really haven't been doing much lately besides going to class. I haven't even been babysitting that much. Spring break is soon (1 more week!) so I'm just trying to survive until then. I'm going to visit Leia in the Bahamas and I'm so excited! I went to visit Larry last weekend and that was fun. The snow was pretty, but I'm glad I don't live in it. It's supposed to snow a little here on Tuesday, but today was warm and sunny like spring. Crazy Tennessee weather. The stupid coyotes that live beside our apartment (I think they're coyotes, I'm not exactly a west Tennessee wildlife expert) woke me up at 3:30 this morning. They are so loud! I looked outside but I didn't see anything. Lindsay's heard them before so I know I'm not crazy! Speaking of Lindsay, here's a funny story. She came home from work the other day and thought it smelled really good outside. I went outside and it smelled like the dumpster! Poor little Lindsay. I'll try to find something more interesting to write about for next time...
